Homefront: The Revolution Announcement Trailer

Recently we saw the cinematic announcement trailer for the sequel to the 2011 video game Homefront, which is titled Homefront: The Revolution. The original was developed by Kaos Studios and published by THQ before the latter went under, leaving the property to be acquired by Crytek and Deep Silver, who tasked Crytek UK with making the sequel.

As expected, the game was at E3 2014. A gameplay demo for Revolution was presented at the convention, and it looks surprisingly good in its new hands. This could be one to keep an eye on, but whether or not the final product will win players over remains to be seen. Be sure to head below to watch the gameplay demo.

Saints Row IV Image

A new trailer has been released for Volition’s sequel to Saints Row: The Third, which will be simply titled Saints Row IV.

The trailer shows the Saints leader—who’s now president—and the alien invasion he has to now deal with as the man in charge. It’s absolutely insane and absurd…just as you’d expect a Saints Row game to look. Anything more tame would only be a let down.

The game is now being published by Deep Silver after THQ filed for bankruptcy, but is still on course for an August 20, 2013 release and can be pre-ordered on Xbox 360, PS3, and PC now. You can check out the new trailer for Saints Row IV below now.

Dead Island: Riptide Image

For those who haven’t heard, a sequel to the Deep Silver and Techland zombie apocalypse survival game, Dead Island, is on the way.

Just like the first trailer for Dead Island, which took the internet by storm upon its release (so much so that it led to a battle to acquire the movie rights well before the game arrived—later optioned by Lionsgate), a beautiful and haunting cinematic kicks things off for the sequel, which is titled Dead Island: Riptide.

The trailer isn’t quite as good as the one we saw for the first game, but still, it’s an excellent trailer well worth watching. You can watch it below now.
