| Trailer For Virtual Reality Game ‘The Climb’ From ‘Crysis’ Developer Crytek
Motion gaming was all set to be the next big thing a while back. But instead of getting the kinds of games we thought we were going to get, most of what we got was, well…crap, to put it bluntly, and it never took off like it was supposed to. Now the NEXT big thing fast approaches: virtual reality! For years we’ve been seeing cool tech demos and videos of YouTube of people enjoying VR such as the Oculus Rift in various ways, but soon we’ll be seeing it go mainstream, with games developed solely for VR play. One such title is called The Climb, and it comes from developer Crytek, makers of the original Far Cry, the Crysis series, Ryse: Son of Rome, and Warface. | Virtual Reality Dinosaur Game ‘Robinson: The Journey’ Trailer Released
An announcement trailer has been released for a game titled Robinson: The Journey, which is being made for Sony’s virtual reality headset PlayStation VR. The game follows a boy who crashes on a mysterious planet, where he must explore and discover its secrets, while avoiding some of the creatures that roam there like dinosaurs. | E3 2014: ‘Homefront: The Revolution’ Gameplay Demo
Recently we saw the cinematic announcement trailer for the sequel to the 2011 video game Homefront, which is titled Homefront: The Revolution. The original was developed by Kaos Studios and published by THQ before the latter went under, leaving the property to be acquired by Crytek and Deep Silver, who tasked Crytek UK with making the sequel. As expected, the game was at E3 2014. A gameplay demo for Revolution was presented at the convention, and it looks surprisingly good in its new hands. This could be one to keep an eye on, but whether or not the final product will win players over remains to be seen. Be sure to head below to watch the gameplay demo.

Another video game announcement trailer released today is for a follow-up to the 2011 game Homefront, which was developed by Kaos Studios and published by THQ. THQ has since gone under, and so the sequel, titled Homefront: The Revolution, is being developed by Crytek UK, formerly known as Free Radical Design before being acquired by Crysis creator Crytek, and published by Deep Silver. | E3 2013: Gameplay Demo For New Roman War Epic ‘Ryse’ From ‘Crysis’ Developer Crytek
To try and win back some of the fans who are angry about Xbox One, Microsoft was all about showing off some of the games that will be exclusive to their system at their E3 2013 presentation. Perhaps the most exciting of them is a game called Ryse: Son of Rome from developer Crytek, who is the company behind the hit Crysis games. This new game follows a Roman general named Marius Titus, and in the first gameplay demo we see him leading his soldiers into an intense battle. The game uses quick time events in combat, which could be met with mixed emotions, but overall it looks an exciting new game to keep an eye on. You can check out the gameplay demo for Ryse below.
