The Diablo game franchise has some of the most passionate fans out there, and those passionate fans have been waiting over a DECADE for the newest installment in the series, Diablo III, which finally reached their hands this week.

But where you would expect pure elation from said passionate Diablo fanbase, there’s an unexpected amount of anger mixed in with some of the praise.

In the game’s first days out, servers have crashed in an apocalyptical fashion only Roland Emmerich would appreciate. Most think it’s just because the game is brand new and that things will be fine in time, while others, knowing the reason it’s happening in the first place, aren’t happy. Not at all.

As of May 10, Blizzard Entertainment’s highly-anticipated Diablo III for PC became the most pre-ordered PC game of all time at Amazon, beating out StarCraft II and World of Warcraft: Cataclysm (both also by Blizzard).

The game will be released on Tuesday, May 15, 2012, so you can still pre-order your copy now.

The guide will also be released on May 15, 2012.
