| Disney Princesses As ‘Game Of Thrones’ Characters (Images) |
|
Disney characters, especially the Disney princesses, are always a great template to start with for reimagining characters in different fictional universes. And when you can take the normally sweet and innocent heroines and throw them into a world as vicious as Game of Thrones, it is all the better, and just in time for Season 4 to boot! In this gallery of art, dubbed “The Wonderful World of Westeros”, which you can check out in full here below, artist DjeDjehuti makes some inspiring choices for matching up the Disney princesses with the female character designs from the fan favorite HBO series. Some of the best match-ups include the newer Disney princess Miranda as Ygritte, Snow White as Shae, and Lilo as Arya. Even Mushu, from Mulan, gets to make a supporting appearance as one of Daenerys’ dragons. Check out the full gallery below, and if you’re in need of some more Disney princess mash-ups, check them out as Star Wars characters or after they get a dark and twisted makeover.

YouTube twosome AVByte has put together a fun and refreshing spin on the Disney princess stereotype. In this song, a live actress/singer portraying Queen Elsa from Disney’s newest release, Frozen, tries to snap her damsel-in-distress companions out of their stupor to see their potential as heroes themselves. The familiar princesses take turns singing as they become empowered by Elsa. “I dreamed of daring quests, seeing the world from East to West. Instead, we just sit inside; stuck in this princess stereotype,” the group sings. With a catchy melody, strong vocals, and meaningful lyrics, this is an enjoyable sketch for all. Check out the video here below!
