This month, the Donald Fagen album The Nightfly is on sale for only $5 in MP3 format.

Released in 1982, The Nightfly was Steely Dan co-founder Fagen’s solo debut following the breakup of the band in 1981. The album is a bit of a concept piece, as it explores Fagen’s optimistic upbringing at the cusp of the post-war atomic age, when science would bring us colonies in space, better living through chemistry, and “more leisure for artists everywhere.” It’s the perfect soundtrack for your retro-Mad Men chill pad.
