| E3 2016: New ‘Gears Of War 4’ Gameplay Demo
Fans of the Gears of War franchise were treated to a new gameplay demo for Gears of War 4, which was first revealed at last year’s E3. That first gameplay demo was nice and all, but this new one definitely takes things to another level, with more of the enemies you’ll be facing off against, some of the weapons you’ll be using to dispatch them with (including some brutal melee finishers, as fans would expect), and the terrifying world all of this is happening in. | E3 2016: Xbox Announces $300 Slim Model, Play Anywhere
There’s been a lot of whispers going around lately that Microsoft and Sony would be announcing new versions of their Xbox One and PS4 consoles. To kick off their E3 2016 briefing Microsoft confirmed their new console, the Xbox One S slim model. The new console will be available in 500 GB, 1TB, and a limited edition 2TB model, with the 500GB model costing as much as the current One was just lowered to: $299. Microsoft also announced Play Anywhere, which allows anyone who buys a game digitally to play on either their One or Windows 10 PC, with all saved progress and achievements saved to their Live account, and cross-play for players on both platforms. | E3 2016: First Images From Telltale’s ‘Batman’ Game; Troy Baker Voicing Bruce Wayne
Telltale Games has released the first images from Batman, their episodic point-and-click take on the Dark Knight. They’ve also released more information on the game, including who will be voicing the characters. The cast is led by none other than Troy Baker, best known for voicing Joel in The Last of Us and Booker in BioShock Infinite, who takes on the role of Bruce Wayne. Baker is no stranger to the franchise having taken on the difficult task of voicing Joker in Batman: Arkham Origins, which had previously been handled by fan-favorite Mark Hamill, voicing Two-Face in Batman: Arkham Knight, and more. It’s not the first time he’s played this character either; he also voiced Batman in various LEGO animated and video game titles. | E3 2016: New ‘Quake’ Game Announced
Quickie video game history lesson: back in 2009, publisher Bethesda Softworks’ parent company ZeniMax Media acquired id Software and brought them into their stable of game developers. The company was responsible for the creation of the modern first-person shooter genre with titles like Wolfenstein 3D, DOOM, and Quake. Back in 2014, the Wolfenstein franchise was resurrected with Wolfenstein: The New Order (developed by MachineGames). Then, just last month, came the return of DOOM, with id handling development themselves. Now the third id Software classic has officially found new life. During Bethesda’s E3 2016 presentation Quake Champions, which is also developed by id, was announced with a cinematic reveal trailer that you can check out below.

| E3 2016: First ‘Dishonored 2’ Gameplay Demo & Trailer
As expected, developer Arkane Studios was on hand at Bethesda Softworks’ E3 2016 event to show off more of the much-anticipated sequel, Dishonored 2. In addition to offering a closer look at the world the game is set in, the first gameplay demo, which looks at some of the ways you can approach your game including some of the abilities you’ll have to play with, and a gameplay trailer were also shared with the masses.
