It has been several months since the season finale of Lost, but fans are still buzzing about the finale. Some fans loved it and felt satisfied by the ending, while others felt cheated by it, as though they’ve wasted six years of their life. Me? I was just waiting for Lost: The Complete Series box set to come out. I had a feeling that the producers of the hit show would go the distance to give Lost the proper DVD sendoff it deserves, and boy did they ever. For those unfamiliar with the show, the series follows a group of passengers from Oceanic Flight 815 after their plane crash lands them on a beautiful and mysterious island. Realizing that until someone finds and rescues them, the surviving members need to learn to live together or die alone. Along they way they meet up with polar bears (yes polar bears!), underground tunnels, smoke monsters, and the mysterious group of people who landed on the island before them, called The Others.

Reviewing The Final Season of LOST is not the easiest thing to pull off. If you have any interest at all in this sixth and last season, then you’ve seen seasons one through five already (at least you better have!). And if you’ve seen seasons one through five, then you were most likely just as excited to inhale the sixth as everyone else, and already know exactly what you think of it! That said, this final season was met with a battle of varying opinions. Most Lost faithfuls came to love the way things were wrapped up; some had difficulty warming up to it, myself included, but in the end it all found a way to work. On the other hand, there were a surprising amount of fans who were enraged by what they saw, unfortunately.

| Must Watch: The Stars Of ‘Lost’ Auditioning For Various Roles
One of the most entertaining things to see when it comes to your favorite movies and TV shows is the audition videos of the cast and maybe even the auditions of famous stars who didn’t get a particular role. While we don’t have any of those here, we do have plenty of the audition tapes of most of your favorite stars from ABC’s Lost. With the curtain set to fall on the show in just about 24-hours now, what better way to make a weekend of it than by witnessing the very beginnings of these characters and the stars who would play (some of) them. The auditions were commonly used as funny special features on the Lost DVDs, but if you have not seen them yet, now you have your chance. Be sure to click on over to the other side to check out ten of these audition tapes.

| SDCC 09: ‘Lost’ Panel Entertains; Raises New Questions [w/Spoilers] |
 |

Of all of the gigantic movie reveals that happen at the San Diego Comic-Con each year, you wouldn’t expect a TV show to steal some of the spotlight. Well, leave it up to Lost and producers Damon Lidelof and Carlton Cuse to put on a show and do just that. The duo showed up with some very interesting video clips and a little fun from a few of the show’s cast members, leaving the room fully entertained and perhaps even more curious than ever.
The panel started off with a promo for Lost University — which begins enrollment on September 22, so don’t miss out! After that, they played a few minor clips before introducing Mr. Lindelof and Mr. Cuse. The duo gave a brief intro before going into some more hilarious videos. If you hadn’t figured it out, the panel was more of a collection of fun videos and the above-mentioned interesting videos than anything. Being the last time Lost will be at Comic-Con, the producers made their panel for the fans. Among some of the videos they showed, was a comic mash-up with footage of some Lost fanatic’s crazy viewing parties, audio dialogue dubbed over the Muppet Babies, and a Brokeback Mountain spoof including Jack and Sawyer. They even did a special “In Memorium” video called “LOST but not Forgotten,” that showcased the characters that have died over the past five seasons. I’ll say this: you know a show is untouchably good when their In Memorium of a bunch of completely fictional characters still makes you sad. Click over for much more, including a few videos that will have you trying to figure out what the last season will bring (with spoilers… warning included).

 LOST
The Complete Second Season, Blu-ray Edition
Starring: Matthew Fox, Evangeline Lilly, Jorge Garcia, Josh Holloway, Dominic Monaghan, Terry O’Quinn
Buena Vista Home Entertainment
Release date: June 16, 2009
I didn’t start watching Lost until the second season was underway. All I knew about it before then was that everyone who watched the show was on the edge of their seats talking about numbers and hatches and “others.” All I saw was some people staring down a metal shaft with confused looks on their faces. Oh how little I knew back then. Things really change in the second season. The survivors learn a lot more about the history of the island, the Dharma Initiative, and “The Others.” The writers also found a plausible way to introduce several new characters into the series as we see what happened to the people in the tail end of the plane (though off camera issues would result in many of the having short lived stints on the show.) We also get to meet Desmond (Henry Ian Cusick), the man whose fate is intricately tied to the island and who knows what caused the crash of Oceanic 815 in the first place. Then there’s ‘Henry Gale’ (Michael Emerson), possibly the best addition to a TV show’s cast… ever.
