The TV and Blu-ray deal of the week over at Amazon this week is Laugh It Up Fuzzball: The Family Guy Trilogy, the three animated Star Wars parody specials.

The DVD is on sale for $16.49 (that’s 53% off the list price of $34.98), while the Blu-ray discounted to $19.49 (that’s 51% off the list price of $39.99).

Note, this deal is valid through the end of the week PST on Saturday, March 19, 2011.

Both editions include Blue Harvest, (based on Star Wars: A New Hope), Something Something Something Dark Side (based on The Empire Strikes Back), and It’s A Trap, the final special, which spoofs Return Of The Jedi.

Whether you love or hate Family Guy, you have to admit that their work spoofing Star Wars (with the blessing of a one George Lucas, of course) has been pretty fantastic thus far.

It’s already been stated that they would not be doing the prequel movies of the mega-franchise, so all that’s left to be done is release the third and final spoof of Return of the Jedi. The final installment is called Family Guy: It’s A Trap!, and it will be released on DVD and Blu-ray on December 21. Unlike the first two chapters of this epic animated parody, characters from all of creator Seth MacFarlane‘s shows will be used, including American Dad and The Cleveland Show. You’ll catch a few of said characters making brief appearances throughout the trailer.
