Chuck Palahniuk

Earlier this year, Chuck Palahniuk made it known that he was working on a sequel to his best-selling book Fight Club, which would be presented in graphic novel form rather than as a book. Beyond just changing the format of the novel, Palahniuk also let it be known that the sequel would be told from Tyler Durden’s point of view, rather than The Narrator who told the story in the original book.

Fight Club

A sequel to the Chuck Palahniuk novel Fight Club is on the way, the author revealed at the recent San Diego Comic-Con. The book was adapted into a movie directed by David Fincher and starring Edward Norton and Brad Pitt in 1999.

But instead of another novel, the sequel will actually come in the form of a serialized graphic novel, which will take place ten years after the events of the original story. For those who aren’t aware, the original tells the story of a normal, everyday, boring man who pretends to have problems in order to attend support groups that help alleviate his insomnia that one day meets a mysterious man named Tyler Durden who changes his life entirely.

Continue reading to check out a statement from Palahniuk about the announcement and what the sequel will be about.
