| Comcast’s Bid To Acquire Fox Officially Higher Than Disney’s
Last year, The Walt Disney Company announced that they had reached a deal to buy the 21st Century Fox‘s entertainment assets. Fox was to keep their news and sports properties while Disney acquired their movie and television assets. It was a big move for the studio who already has Pixar, Marvel Studios, and Lucasfilm. It also, of course, finally brought the X-Men and Fantastic Four properties back home to Marvel. But as that initially appeared to be a done deal, Comcast, the company who owns Universal Pictures, made their own interest in making a bid to acquire Fox known. Now Comcast has made an offer to acquire Fox’s entertainment assets for $65 billion, which is significantly higher than Disney’s $52 billion deal. More on the story below.

| Comcast Is Preparing An All-Cash Bid For Fox’s Entertainment Assets
It’s been almost six months since Disney made the historic move to acquire nearly all of Fox‘s entertainment assets for the price of $52 billion dollars. However, a lot has changed since then. And it looks like there are other parties who are interested in claiming a piece of the Fox pie. Earlier this year, Comcast expressed interest in acquiring Fox. The company, which also owns Universal, originally made a higher bid than the Mouse House. Their stake was priced at $60 billion. But the deal was rejected with Fox citing anti-trust issues. Now it looks like Comcast is making another move for Fox. This time offering all cash as opposed to Disney’s stock options. More on the story below.

| Final Trailer For ‘Deadpool 2’ Released By 20th Century Fox
20th Century Fox has released a final trailer for Deadpool 2, which once again stars Ryan Reynolds as the Merc with a Mouth. The trailer comes a month before the sequel arrives in theaters. Starring alongside Reynolds in the movie is Josh Brolin, Morena Baccarin, Julian Dennison, Zazie Beetz, T.J. Miller, Brianna Hildebrand, and Jack Kesy. It’s directed by David Leitch (John Wick, Atomic Blonde) this time around, who steps in for original director Tim Miller.
