| ‘To Hell and Back’: Trailer For Documentary About Jason Voorhees Actor Kane Hodder Released |
 |

Every fan of the Friday the 13th slasher series has their favorite Jason Voorhees. For many, myself included, it’s always been Kane Hodder. A documentary about the man himself is on the way titled To Hell and Back: The Kane Hodder Story. The doc tells Kane’s story, beginning with his difficult earlier years and leading to his landing the iconic role of Jason and other Hollywood roles. It also features interviews with Robert Englund (A Nightmare on Elm Street), who faced off with Voorhees as Freddy Krueger in 2003’s Freddy vs. Jason (though not with Hodder, sadly); Bruce Campbell, who many fans wanted to see join the Freddy and Jason fight in a sequel as Ash from the Evil Dead movies (a battle that did happen in comic book form); Adam Green, who directed Hodder as Victor Crowley in the Hatchet movies after he moved on from the Friday the 13th movies; and more. Click on over to the other side to read more about the movie and check out a trailer.

| Video: ‘Blair Witch’-Style ‘Friday The 13th’ Found Footage Fan Film |
 |

A Friday the 13th: The Game is on the way, but the next movie in the long-running Friday the 13th horror franchise has had trouble finding a path to existence. The last movie in the franchise was the 2009 reboot, and various possibilities have surfaced since then in search of the next Jason Voorhees story to tell. These have included Friday the 13th in a wintry setting, applying the popular (with some folks) found footage format, and doing another movie with no Jason at all. But ultimately, none of these have worked out. And probably for the best, as over-thinking a franchise such as this can be dangerous. While we await the next movie in the franchise, a fan has created a Blair Witch Project-style Friday the 13th short film to show us what a found footage movie might have looked like. And though found footage may not be so appealing for a feature, a fan-made short like this is fun enough to pass a little time. You can check out the short below.

| ‘Friday The 13th: The Game’ Gets A “Killer” New Trailer
For PAX East 2017, developer Gun Media has released a new trailer for Friday the 13th: The Game. The trailer is presented as a music video for a song called “Killer” by Crazy Lixx, and, fitting to its name, the video is incredibly violent. You know the words to this song. If you’re at all offended by digital fictional characters causing harm or being harmed in lots and lots of gruesome ways, probably best to steer clear. For the rest of you, do prepare yourself for some classic Jason Voorhees brutality and click on over to the other side to watch the new trailer.
