Now that they’ve kicked off the continuing adventures of Star Wars, it looks like Disney is now turning their attention to another one of its newest acquisitions – the Indiana Jones franchise, which they bought the rights to from Paramount in 2013.
And who will they center the franchise on now? Not Shia LaBeouf, who was once tapped to take up the mantle after his appearance in the last film, 2008’s Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull (he apologized in 2010 for not doing the role of Indy’s new sidekick and heir apparent justice).
Deadline reports that Disney wants Guardians Of The Galaxy star Chris Pratt to take over as Indiana Jones, the adventuring archaeologist brought to life on the big screen and made famous by Harrison Ford.
