HBO Releases New Trailer For ‘His Dark Materials’ TV Series

During San Diego Comic-Con 2019 this past summer an official trailer was released for His Dark Materials, a TV series adaptation of author Philip Pullman‘s fantasy book trilogy of the same name being co-produced by HBO and the BBC.

HBO To Co-Produce ‘His Dark Materials’ Series Based On Philip Pullman Books

HBO already has one massive fantasy series in Game of Thrones, but now they’re adding another one. Though it’s not theirs exclusively.
It’s being reported that HBO has reached a deal to co-produce the BBC series His Dark Materials, which is based on author Philip Pullman‘s book trilogy of the same name. The report says that the series is likely one of the biggest and most expensive British series ever made.

Trailer: ‘Hell Or High Water’ Director David Mackenzie’s ‘Outlaw King’ Starring Chris Pine As Robert The Bruce

Netflix has released an official trailer for Outlaw King, the latest title from Scottish director David Mackenzie. The movie reunites Mackenzie with Chris Pine, who starred in his 2016 Academy Award nominee Hell or High Water.
The movie tells the untold true story of Robert the Bruce, with Pine starring as Bruce, who fought to see Scotland freed from English oppression. Also starring is Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Florence Pugh, Billy Howle, Stephen Dillane, Tony Curran, Alastair Mackenzie, and James Cosmo.

Official Trailer For Danny Boyle’s ‘Trainspotting 2’ Released

Sony Pictures has released an official trailer for T2: Trainspotting, or Trainspotting 2, the sequel to Danny Boyle‘s 1996 drug addiction dramedy.
Boyle returns to direct the sequel, with original cast members Ewan McGregor, Ewen Bremner, Jonny Lee Miller, Robert Carlyle, Kelly MacDonald, James Cosmo, Shirley Henderson, and Irvine Welsh—who also wrote the books the original and its sequel are based on—returning to reprise their roles. John Hodge, who was nominated for an Academy Award writing the original, penned the sequel as well.
