‘Action Point’ Trailer: Johnny Knoxville Is Up To His Old Tricks Again

Johnny Knoxville has made a name for himself by subjecting himself to insane stunts that probably no one else but him would perform. Sometimes these daredevil schemes work better as a reality show, and other times, if you can figure out how to weave them into a plot, it can make for an interesting film.
That’s what we could get in Action Point. The film, which is based on a true story, sees Knoxville play the owner of a low-rent amusement park where the rides are not designed with safety in mind. But when a competing amusement park threatens to shut them down, it is up to the Action Point team to draw in more guests by any means necessary. Check out the full trailer below.

‘Paranormal Activity 5’ Pushed Back To 2014; Johnny Knoxville ‘Jackass’ Spin-Off ‘Bad Grandpa’ Takes Its Place

Paramount Pictures is doing a bit of shuffling of their upcoming release slate. Instead of releasing Paranormal Activity 5 on October 25, 2013—which would have made five in the same amount of years—the studio has instead decided to push the next installment in the found footage horror franchise back to January 3, 2014.
To fill the vacated October 25th spot, Paramount has announced that they will release Jackass Presents: Bad Grandpa on that date. The title may not sound familiar at first, but anyone who’s watched the Jackass movies will be familiar with the Bad Grandpa sketches in which Johnny Knoxville is completely transformed into a convincingly realistic old man named Irving, who would set out and cause mischief.

Blue Sky Studios may not have as many titles in their library as Pixar or DreamWorks Animation, but they do have some pretty respectable ones.
Take Ice Age, for instance. Though the film lacks great stories, it has become one of the most profitable film franchises for the studio. Then there’s Rio, also a very profitable film, and one that has earned a few awards along the way.
Now comes EPIC, a film that takes Ferngully, and turns into an epic adventure of all shapes and sizes. You can see the first trailer for the movie below.

Jackass 3
Netflix Streaming
DVD | Blu-Ray
Directed by Jeff Tremaine
Starring Johnny Knoxville, Bam Margera, Steve-O, Ryan Dunn, Wee Man, Mike Judge
Paramount Pictures
Originally Released: October 15, 2010
More than once I questioned why the hell I was viewing Jackass 3. Of course I’m familiar with the television series, though I’ve never really identified myself as being a part of the cult fan-base of the Jackass collective. Having said that though, Jackass 3 is a humorous detour from the usual suspects to be found on Netflix Streaming, with some excellent cinematography in places – though be warned: there are many numerous scenes with intent to disgust.
