Back in September I saw a trailer for a new horror anthology titled Folklore which was coming to HBO Asia. The first season consists of six episodes set in six different Asian countries—Indonesia, Japan, Singapore, Thailand, Malaysia, and Korea—which tell six different stories, each inspired by the folklore of the country it’s set in. Sadly, it appeared that the show wouldn’t be available to watch here in the States when it premiered in October.
But never fear! HBO has recognized that there are people around the world who are interested in watching Folklore, and it has been revealed that the series will be coming to HBO GO, HBO NOW, HBO On Demand, and HBO’s partners’ streaming platforms next month.
You can find more info on the six episodes and watch a trailer for the anthology below.
