GoD List Banner

Each and every week “Yes! Yes! Yes!“ MK2Fac3 and “What’s Wrong With MK2Factor3?“ Henchman21 read a lot of comics. Seriously you guys, a lot of comics. Maybe too many comics. I mean, it is possible”¦ theoretically. They look forward to some more than others, I mean, who doesn’t? So, let’s take a look into the depths of their pull lists, grab some comics, and we’ll let YOU know what the top books to look forward to are for the week of May 30, 2012. Single issues and trades, they’re all here.

Ladies and gentlemen, I regret to inform you that this week is the fifth week of the month, and it’s the Wednesday after a holiday here in the United States. These factoids typically add up to the fact that there just aren’t going to be that many comics in your local stores this week. And while there won’t be too many single issues, there are some high profile issues, as well as plenty of great new collections coming out this week. Now, if you haven’t been following this list for the last couple of decades, we’ll also be having a section of this week’s The GoD List that also shines a nice light on some comics that you can check out that you may have missed… since, you know, the light week and all. With all of this information, please continue as we provide you with all the information that you need to be armed with when you step inside your local comic book shop (or online retailer).

This just in comic book fans! Mark Millar the creator of Kick-Ass and Titan Magazines have joined forces to create a brand new 100-page monthly magazine called CLiNT.

In a time when many print titles are folding, this new publication will feature comic done by Mark Millar, John Romita JR, Jonathan Ross, and many others, and the style will be in a comic strip format similar to DC Comics’ Weekly Wednesday. And not only will the magazine have these comic strips, but it will also have interviews an features from TV, movies, and video games. Information on the comics that will be featured in the magazine has not yet been revealed but if it is anything like we are used to getting from Millar we are in for a huge treat.

The magazine will feature British talent as well as American talent. This is one of the biggest gatherings of the most gifted writers and artists in comics. Hopefully readers will catch a glimpse of Millar’s Kick-Ass 2.

Did you read that headline? Yeah, it’s not a lie; you’re about to watch the legendary Christopher Walken sitting in a chair and reading us the lyrics of the enigma that is Lady Gaga‘s hit song, Poker Face.

There’s not a whole lot more that needs to said; if you haven’t already ignored the rest of what I’m typing, I’ll be confused by your dedication to covering all ground before the pay-off.

If you are so dedicated, the clip comes from BBC One’s Friday Night with Jonathan Ross. There’s no set up or anything; it just goes right to Mr. Walken getting into it, and everyone who’s part of the show laughing hysterically.

Waste no more time and head to the other side now to check the video out!
