| ‘Monsters University’ Trailer: An Education In Kickstarting Pixar’s Heart |
 |

Before Mike and Sulley revolutionized the way they powered their world in Monsters Inc., they were roommates hellbent on making each other’s college experience a miserable one. This is what we get to see in the first few seconds of the trailer for Monsters University, which can bring up some memories for those who had to go through the dreams or traumas of sharing a dorm with a person for the next few months. Check out the newest trailer for Monsters University here below. The teaser trailer didn’t show us a whole in terms of plot; in fact, the entire trailer was sequestered in the dorm. This newest trailer is much more bright and colorful, mirroring Mike’s glee as he sets foot to become a full-fledged scarer. But it wouldn’t be a college experience without a few rivalries (both in the dorm and on the football field) and prank pulling. It seems like Monsters University can be a whole lot of fun since it is going back to characters we know.

| Watch This Video Of The Celebrity Callers From ‘Frasier’ |
 |

On the sitcom Frasier, which was a spin-off from Cheers, Kelsey Grammer’s Dr. Frasier Crane moved from Boston to Seattle to live his post-divorced life with his disabled retired cop father, Martin, and his father’s British live-in physical therapist Daphne. Instead of opening up his own practice in town, the psychiatrist took a job at the local radio station as the host of a self-help talk show. Each day, people would call in about their problems and Frasier would dole out the advice like only Dr. Crane could. The television series ran for 11 seasons from 1993 to 2004, and I could go on and on about how it was one of the greatest sitcoms ever, how it still stands up over time, and how there’s so much about it that’s awesome. But, one of the cool things about Frasier is that for Dr. Crane’s radio show, the callers were typically celebrities doing voice cameos. Below is a 6-minute video montage of some of the most famous callers, so check it out.

I am a sucker for animation. From Saturday morning cartoons to epic feature films, I have always been drawn to the medium. Disney movies were staples in my household, and we owned a ton of them. In fact, my current DVD/Blu-Ray collection probably has its roots in how I felt when bringing home a new Disney movie on video. Not only did the package contain the film that I loved, but the glossy, white-rimmed boxes were different from all the other VHS cassettes we had. They were a sight to behold, and though the format has changed over the years, Disney has never disappointed in their home video releases. Always at the forefront of trends, Disney/Pixar’s release of Toy Story 2‘s 3D Combo Pack is a beautiful one.
