One thing I forgot to mention in my review of Marvel’ Black Panther – something I regret not putting in – is the fact that the music is an excellent complement to the superhero film. Produced by Kendrick Lamar, the soundtrack is easily one of the most anticipated Marvel soundtracks to date. Probably because it’s one of the few that is worthwhile.

The Grammys were held on Sunday night, January 28, 2018, and hosted for the second year in a row by late night talk-show host James Corden, this time at New York City’s Madison Square Garden with the live broadcast on CBS starting at 7:30pm EST (4:30pm PST).

Marvel Studios films aren’t really known for their soundtracks, with the exception of the Guardians of the Galaxy films. However, you can add Black Panther to that list of films getting one. But this time, it will feature original music specifically created for the film.

It has just been announced that Grammy Award winner Kendrick Lamar will be producing the soundtrack. The album will feature music from and inspired by Black Panther including the lead single, “All The Stars,” featuring Lamar and label mate SZA, produced by Sounwave.
