20th Century Fox has released the final trailer for their upcoming Rise of the Planet of the Apes sequel, Dawn of the Planet of the Apes. The movie will be released next month on July 11th, and stars Andy Serkis, Jason Clarke, Gary Oldman, Keri Russell, Toby Kebbell, Kodi Smit-McPhee, Judy Greer, Enrique Murciano, and Kirk Acevedo. | ‘Dawn Of The Planet Of The Apes’ Bear Hunt TV Spot (Video)
This summer, the apes will return in Dawn of the Planet of the Apes, the upcoming sequel to 2011’s Rise of the Planet of the Apes. The spread of the Simian Flu led to the ruin of major cities like New York, San Francisco, and London and the downfall of humankind, and now a war between the surviving humans and a race of genetically evolved apes led by Caesar (played via mo-cap by the Andy Serkis) is about to begin. A new 1-minute TV spot for the film called “Bear Hunt” has been released and you can check it out here below. Also, you can get ready for the upcoming film by reading its prequel novel, Dawn of the Planet of the Apes: Firestorm, which was recently released in paperback and Kindle formats. The surprisingly good venture into the macabre and demonic in the stop-motion animated film known as ParaNorman is full of both frights and laughs, in a tale that finishes up being as endearing as it is exciting. With precision on effects and careful attention to detail, the film is well worth your viewing time, full of tributes to classics, and memorable humor. The story begins in the small town of Blithe Hollow, where Norman Babcock (Kodi Smit-McPhee) is ostracized by family members and peers alike because of his unusual ability: he can see the dead and speak with them. Very few believe in Norman’s abilities, except for his mysterious Uncle Prenderghast (John Goodman), who has been watching the boy from afar.
