Ben Hardy Confirmed As Angel In ‘X-Men: Apocalypse’
When it was announced that EastEnders star Ben Hardy would be joining the cast of X-Men: Apocalypse, many speculated that he would play the winged-mutant Angel. It made sense considering he looked a lot like Warren Worthington III, but as to if he would play Angel or the transformed Archangel, that was unclear.
Now director Bryan Singer confirms that the actor is indeed playing as Angel, but added that “he’s not a very nice Angel!” More after the jump, including some concept art.

‘X-Men: Apocalypse’ Adds Lana Condor As Jubilee
The cast of X-Men: Apocalypse continues to grow with new and fresh faces taking the roles of familiar characters in the franchise. James McAvoy, Michael Fassbender, Nicolas Hoult and Jennifer Lawrence are all confirmed to return to reprise their respective roles. Lawrence recently opened up about Apocalypse being her last X-Men film, and it’s very likely that this will be McAvoy and Fassbender’s final X-Men film as well. Rose Bryne is also set to return.
Recent castings have revealed that new actors will play characters previously seen in the first three films. Now joining Xavier’s new class will be Jubilation Lee aka Jubilee, who will be played by Lana Condor.

‘X-Men: Apocalypse’ Casts Kodi Smit-McPhee As A Young Nightcrawler
The cast of Bryan Singer‘s forthcoming Marvel movie sequel X-Men: Apocalypse continues to grow in size and talent as Kodi Smit-McPhee has signed on to play the heroic mutant Nightcrawler in 20th Century Fox’s summer 2016 tentpole blockbuster release.
Best known for his performances in The Road and last year’s Dawn of the Planet of the Apes, the Australian actor joins a massive ensemble cast that also recently added Sophie Turner (Game of Thrones) as Jean Grey, Tye Sheridan (Mud) as Scott Summers/Cyclops, and Alexandra Shipp (Alvin and the Chipmunks: The Squeakquel), as well as Oscar Isaac (Inside Llewyn Davis) as the titular villain.

New Trailer For Sci-Fi Western ‘Young Ones’ Released
A new trailer has been released for Young Ones, an upcoming sci-fi western from director and writer Jake Paltrow (The Good Night, Boardwalk Empire).
The movie stars Michael Shannon, Elle Fanning, Kodi Smit-McPhee, and Nicholas Hoult. It’s set in a time where water hard to find, and people fight to get it and control where it does exist.
