Netflix Releases Official Trailer For ‘The Laundromat’ Starring Meryl Streep, Gary Oldman, and Antonio Banderas

If films like The Irishman, The King, and Marriage Story didn’t make it crystal clear how serious Netflix is about bringing home that Academy Award for Best Picture they were unable to win with Roma last year, they also have someone Oscar is quite fond of, none other than Meryl Streep, a 21-time nominee and three-time winner.
Streep stars in The Laundromat, which Netflix released an official trailer for today. But she’s not alone. Not by a long-shot. The movie is directed by Academy Award winner Steven Soderbergh, and she’s joined on the cast by fellow Oscar winner Gary Oldman and Antonio Banderas. And they’re just the tip of the iceberg; the cast is massive, with numerous familiar faces. You can watch the trailer and see the full cast in the synopsis below.

Michael J. Fox, Christopher Lloyd Reprise ‘Back To The Future’ Roles In ‘LEGO Dimensions’

The impressive voice cast has been announced for the upcoming video game LEGO Dimensions in the form of a new preview video.
While the cast is huge, it’s a specific part of the cast that’s particularly exciting. Among all the names, none other than Michael J. Fox is in the game, reprising his role as Marty McFly from Back to the Future. He’s also joined by co-star Christopher Lloyd, who of course voices Emmett “Doc” Brown. If you recall a handful of years ago, Telltale made their own episodic Back to the Future game, but Fox was unable to record for the game at the time, leading to them bringing in a surprisingly accurate impressionist for the job.
You can read a rundown of who joins Fox and Lloyd on the cast, including stars of The LEGO Movie, Doctor Who, Portal, and more, and also watch the voice cast announcement video below.

‘Dawn Of The Planet Of The Apes’ TV Spot Reveals New Footage

During Sunday’s season finale of The Walking Dead, viewers got another tantalizing glimpse at this summer’s super simian sequel Dawn of the Planet of the Apes in the form of the film’s first television spot.
So what makes this spot worth watching? Three words: APES ON HORSEBACK! I fell in love the moment a massive gate opened to show us ape leader Caesar (Andy Serkis) and some of his loyal followers sitting atop noble steeds and geared up for some serious stuff to start. The visual effects work in this film could do the unthinkable and easily surpass the technical accomplishments of 2011’s Rise of the Planet of the Apes.
You can check it out here below.
