The pose. The music. And, of course, that exchange of pleasantries. These are just some of the recognizable staples of Charlie’s Angels. And it is all there in Sony Pictures’ new telling of the titular film directed by Elizabeth Banks (Pitch Perfect 2). And with these new tellings comes a brand new cast and vision. | Sony Releases Final Trailer For ‘Brightburn’
Sony Pictures Entertainment has released the final trailer for Brightburn, which is set to arrive in theaters this week. The movie, which takes a superhero story and gives it a horror twist, stars Elizabeth Banks, David Denman, Jackson A. Dunn, Matt Jones, and Meredith Hagner. It’s comes from producer James Gunn (Slither, Super, Guardians of the Galaxy), and is directed by David Yarovesky (The Hive) from a screenplay written by Brian Gunn and Mark Gunn (Journey 2: The Mysterious Island). It tells a Superman-like story of a young boy with super powers from another planet who ends up on Earth. But as he discovers his special gifts, he passes up the opportunity to do good with them and instead opts for very dark deeds. | Listen: ‘The LEGO Movie 2’s “Catchy Song” Will Try To Up “Everything Is Awesome”
It’s almost impossible to top The LEGO Movie‘s great song “Everything Is Awesome.” While it may have lost the chance to win an Academy Award, it definitely left behind a legacy for being a very upbeat, cheery, and unforgettable tune. It wouldn’t be much of a LEGO Movie without that signature song. So they will try to up things in the sequel The LEGO Movie 2: The Second Part with a song titled “Catchy Song,” which includes lyrics like “This song’s gonna get stuck inside your head.” The full song from the cast and Dillon Francis featuring T-Pain and That Girl Lay Lay has now been shared online along with a brief featurette about the song.
