‘Charlie’s Angels’ Trailer: Symbols Of Female Empowerment Are Back

The pose. The music. And, of course, that exchange of pleasantries. These are just some of the recognizable staples of Charlie’s Angels. And it is all there in Sony Pictures’ new telling of the titular film directed by Elizabeth Banks (Pitch Perfect 2).
And with these new tellings comes a brand new cast and vision. Kristen Stewart, Naomi Scott, and Ella Balinska are the new Angels, with Banks playing the role of Bosley. But those aren’t the only changes that we are seeing. Check out the trailer below.

‘The Huntsman: Winter’s War’ Trailer: Emily Blunt Uses Ice Powers To “Let It Go”

Universal Pictures has just released the second trailer for The Huntsman: Winter’s War starring Chris Hemsworth reprising his role as the title character and Charlize Theron, who also returns to reprise her role as Ravenna, the Evil Queen. The film is a prequel and sequel of sorts that is set before and after the events of Snow White And The Huntsman. Trust me, the trailer doesn’t make it exactly clear which one of the two it is. The two will be joined by Emily Blunt, who plays Freya, the Ice Queen and sister of Raveena, and Jessica Chastain, Sara, the Warrior, Eric’s (Hemsworth) lover.
Check out the latest trailer for the film below.

‘Star Wars: Rogue One’: Sam Claflin and Riz Ahmed In Talks To Star
|
 |

Sunday’s Star Wars Celebration panel focused on the Star Wars spinoff films of the franchise. This Star Wars Anthology is said to expand on the existing universe, with LucasFilms President Kathleen Kennedy saying “the idea behind these movies that Star Wars — as much as it’s a series of events and characters that we have come to know — is a place.” The hope is that the anthology series will “tell stories that may not involve the Jedi.” We still don’t know much of anything of Josh Trank’s untitled Star Wars Spinoff, but it’s confirmed that Gareth Edwards’ Star Wars: Rogue One will see Felicity Jones leading a band of rebels to steal the plans of the Death Star. Ben Mendelsohn is also rumored to star in the film.
Now there is word that Sam Claflin (The Hunger Games: Catching Fire, Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides) and Riz Ahmed (Four Lions, Nightcrawler) are in talks to appear in the film as well. Hit the jump for more.
