Just the small moment of his girl driver texting while driving, and Louie’s reaction was priceless. She never looked at the road. The header photo is how she was for 99% of that scene. He’s rooming with just a disgusting perv in his comedy and out. Now Louie does have the capacity to be disgusting, but seems an angel after going on after this guy.

Air Date: Thursday, May 14th, 2015, 10:30pm Last night’s Louie was not crazy scary like last week’s when “Awful Being,” as the scariest creature on earth was called in this episode, kept popping up. It actually was my favorite episode of Louie ever, even though I’m too scared to ever watch it again.

Air Date: Thursday, May 7th, 2015, 10:30pm This week’s Louie started with his classic standup at The Comedy Cellar, which is the best part of him and his show. It also set up the rest of the episode as it usually does. Louie (Louis CK) takes Jane (Ursula Parker) to the doctor. And it is Jane who has the spotlight. The doctor doesn’t want to hear Louie’s opinions but does ask Jane, and she describes seeing electrons and feeling like she’s returning to nothing like before she was born. The doctor tells her to drink a glass of water. I love this. It really showcases his quirky daughter.

Air Date: Thursday, April 30th, 2015, 10:30pm Last week’s Louie gave us the always welcome gift of guest star Michael Rapaport. This week we get the return of Robert Kelly. Awesome two weeks! Definitely a couple of spoilers below! Louie 5.4 “Bobby’s House” is a classic Louie episode, filled with awkward silence, utter humiliation, and laughter at Louie’s pain. Louie (Louis C.K.) gets a call from his brother Bobby asking if he’s going to their uncle’s wake. Louie did not know about it – with good reason. Their uncle did not die, and they ended up at the wrong funeral. They are so far in, they can’t back out of it, so they pay their respects. Funny – Bobby goes to kneel and make the sign of the cross at the stranger’s funeral. Is it weird to find a funeral scene funny?

Air Date: Thursday, April 23rd, 2015, 10:30pm Last week’s Louie was a Pamela episode (Pamela Adlon). She’s a spicy tamale! Louie (Louis C.K.) does not know how to handle that. The week before, Louie had sex with a surrogate and her water broke. What is in store for him this week? I love that every episode of Louie could be a standalone episode while also connected to others. That is real life though, right? It opens with Louie shopping in a cooking store. It’s about to close and the owner does not want to help him, not caring about the sale. She spins a convincing tale on why he doesn’t matter because he’s old, and characteristic of Louie, he agrees. “We’re the future. You don’t belong in it. Because we’re beyond you.” Ouch!
