Release Date: October 23, 2012 Every once in a while, a critic must suck up his pride and cover a film that would have never registered on his radar. For me, that is what I experienced with the latest entry in the Disney Fairies series, Secret of the Wings. Though this Tinker Bell-themed movie presents nothing new to the direct-to-video blueprint, I must admit that this “flitterrific” film offers pleasant amusement. Let’s fly right into this review.

| Watch This Red Band Trailer For RZA’s Kung-Fu Flick ‘The Man With The Iron Fists’
A lot of The Man with The Iron Fists is based on RZA‘s undying fascination with classic kung-fu films. The first trailer gave us an idea of what to expect from the musician turned director. The film looks like it will be a blood splatter good time, but what about the other characters? Well, a new red-band trailer gives us a semi-prolific look at the heroes and villains of the story. Check it out below. RZA will be playing the hero or, as the trailer likes to call him, the Blacksmith, the man who forges iron fists with his own bare hands. Now this isn’t to be confused with Marvel’s hero Iron Fist; this is something completely different. You can check out the trailer below.

| ‘Eternal Sunshine’ Writer Charlie Kaufman Touched Up ‘Kung Fu Panda 2’ Script
It would be difficult for anyone to find an odder pairing than screenwriter Charlie Kaufman and the bumbling hero in Kung Fu Panda, but according to reports, that’s a match that has occurred recently. Apparently Kaufman was brought in by DreamWorks to pen some touch-ups to the existing script for Kung Fu Panda: The Kaboom of Doom, the sequel to the surprise animated hit of 2008. Kaufman’s spit-shine of the script, written by Jonathan Aibel and Glenn Berger, is completely out of the realms that he usually works within. Kaufman is best known as the writer of two of my own personal favorite movies, Adaptation and Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind. He also wrote Being John Malkovich, Human Nature, Confessions of a Dangerous Mind, and Synecdoche, New York, which he also directed.
