| NYCC 2017 Video Interview: Cast Of FOX’s Marvel Show ‘The Gifted’
The highly anticipated FOX series The Gifted premiered its first episode last week, and has already received much acclaim for what is being called a solid start to the Marvel show. Set in the same Marvel universe as the X-Men films and loosely connected to FX’s Legion, The Gifted “tells the story of a suburban couple whose ordinary lives are rocked by the sudden discovery that their children possess mutant powers,” FOX says. Geeks Of Doom had the chance this weekend to sit down and interview stars Stephen Moyer, Amy Acker, Sean Teale, Jamie Chung, Coby Bell, Emma Dumont, Natalie Alyn Lind, and Percy Hynes White at New York Comic-Con 2017.

| FOX Gives Full-Series Order To X-Men Show ‘The Gifted’ From Matt Nix, Bryan Singer
In addition to the recent FX series Legion, which was recently renewed for a second season, FOX has also been developing another X-Men spinoff TV series from Burn Notice and The Comedians creator Matt Nix. Some of the things we’ve known about it up to this point include that it would be set in the X-Men universe with mutants, that FOX had ordered a pilot episode set to be directed by longtime X-Men movie director Bryan Singer, and that Jamie Chung would star as Blink. A handful of months after ordering the pilot, FOX has now given a full series order to the show along with an official title: The Gifted. They’ve also released a brief teaser, which can be found below along with more details on the story and cast.

| Jamie Chung Cast As Blink In Fox’s Untitled ‘X-Men’ Series
It’s fair to say that Fox expanding the X-Men franchise to TV has been a success. Following the hit Legion, the studio will be releasing an untitled X-Men series from creator Matt Nix (Burn Notice). The show will focus on a family with children who have mutant powers, who are on the run and encounter an underground network of mutants who will protect them from a government agency. The first to be cast was Blair Redford, who will play Sam, the leader of the underground mutant network. Now he will be joined by Jamie Chung, who will play Clarice Fong, aka Blink, a mutant that we first saw in X-Men: Days of Future Past. More on the story below.

The holiday season is upon us, and that means it’s time to party and celebrate the end of the year. And what kind of celebration would it be without a Christmas party, especially the kind of party that involves drinking, physical humor, and other unsightly vulgarity?
