Last month, we got to see the full trailer for Disney’s Maleficent, the live-action retelling of Sleeping Beauty, focusing more on the story of the infamous villain from Disney’s 1959 animated classic.

Angelina Jolie plays Maleficent in the new film and so far we’ve seen a small glimpse of the character’s backstory in the “Maleficent’s Wings” clip. Now, Disney has released a featurette titled “Legacy” that gives more information on the title character.

Check out the 2-minute video here below, which features movie footage along with interview clips with Jolie, co-star Elle Fanning (who plays Aurora aka Sleeping Beauty), and director Robert Stromberg.

As we were promised, Disney has released the full trailer for Maleficent.

The movie is a live-action retelling of the tale of Sleeping Beauty, focusing more on the story of the infamous villain from Disney’s 1959 animated classic, Maleficent, who is played int the movie by Angelina Jolie.

So far for Walt Disney Studios’ Maleficent we’ve seen the teaser trailer, as well as the Dream trailer, which featured Lana Del Rey’s rendition of “Once Upon A Dream,” the song from Disney’s classic animated feature Sleeping Beauty (on which Maleficent is based).

The full trailer for the film, which stars Angelina Jolie as the famed titled villainess, launches tomorrow, but in the meantime, the studio has released a clip called “Maleficent’s Wings,” where the character talks about how she used to have wings; there’s also a new banner poster for the film which shows Maleficent with her massive black wings. Check out both new items here below.

Maleficent, which also stars Sharlto Copley, Elle Fanning, Sam Riley, Imelda Staunton, Juno Temple, and Lesley Manville, opens in theaters on May 30, 2014.

A new trailer for Disney’s Maleficent debuted during Sunday’s telecast of the Grammys, and was immediately released online by Disney soon after.

The trailer featured a new rendition of “Once Upon A Dream,” the song from Disney’s classic animated feature Sleeping Beauty, by award-winning singer/songwriter Lana Del Rey.

Seconds after the trailer debuted, Disney announced that for a limited time, Lana Del Rey’s “Once Upon a Dream” will be available as a FREE download on Google Play, Google’s online store offering digital music, movies, books, games, and more.

If you were watching the Grammy Awards tonight, then you might have caught the preview of the newest trailer for Disney’s Maleficent, the live-action backstory of their animated classic, Sleeping Beauty.
