When it comes to the best performances of Jim Carrey‘s career, most would argue his best work was done in either Man on the Moon or Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, and maybe even The Truman Show for some.

Netflix has released a trailer for a new documentary about one of these performances, titled Jim & Andy: The Great Beyond. The movie features never before seen behind the scenes footage of Carrey on the set of Man on the Moon, in which he played his idol Andy Kaufman and often stayed in character even when not filming.

A new ultra short film titled Man on the Moon has been released, which comes from photographer Tyler Shields. The short stars Firefly, Serenity, and Castle star Nathan Fillion.

The short takes place on a plane on the same day that we landed on the moon, and while it’s not long at all, it does have a distinct Mad Men vibe to it.
