The first trailer for director Jared Hess‘s (Napoleon Dynamite, Nacho Libre) heist comedy Masterminds has been released.

Zach Galifianakis stars as an armored truck driver stuck in a monotonous life, who is lured into stealing $17 million for two thieves (Owen Wilson and Ken Marino) who plan to make him a scapegoat. There will also be double crosses, a hit man (Jason Sudeikis), and comedy all around. The film is actually based on a true story of the 1997 Loomis Fargo heist where armored car driver and vault supervisor David Scott Ghantt stole $17.3 million and eight people were arrested and convicted of the crime.
