Ever wondered what a classic animated movie like Pixar’s Up would look like if Transformers director and the new Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles reboot producer Michael Bay made it? Of course you haven’t. That’d be just silly.

But this is the internet, ladies and gentlemen, and the internet just loves to show you things you never thought you wanted to see. YouTube user MrStratman7 has created a trailer for the Bay-directed version of Up, and you can find out what it would look like below.

Hots on the heels of its smashing box office weekend, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles will be getting a sequel in 2016.

Paramount greenlit the sequel, which will see Michael Bay returning to produce along with his Platinum Dunes partners Andrew Form and Brad Fuller, with Galen Walker and Scott Mednick. Screenwriters Josh Appelbaum and André Nemec will also return to write and this time executive produce as well.

Platinum Dunes. The production company created by Michael Bay, Brad Fuller, and Andrew Form came on the scene in 2003 with The Texas Chainsaw Massacre, a remake of Tobe Hooper’s classic 1974 film. Since then, they’ve rebooted just about every popular horror franchise you can imagine: The Amityville Horror, The Hitcher*, Friday the 13th, and A Nightmare on Elm Street.

Somehow – through some sort of covenant with the Devil, I assume – Platinum Dunes obtained the film rights to Nickelodeon’s Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, the beloved franchise created by Peter Laird and Kevin Eastman. Enter Paramount Pictures, who produced recent “name-brand” disappointments like G.I. Joe: Retaliation, World War Z, Jack Ryan: Shadow Recruit, Transformers: Age of Extinction, and Hercules. I say disappointment not because these movies were failures at the box office, quite the opposite actually. They’re just not good films. They’re lazy, generic blockbusters in a world where movies like X-Men: Days of Future Past, Dawn of the Planet of the Apes, and Guardians of the Galaxy are thrilling audiences and critics alike.

In life, wars have been or still are waged over power, religion, resources, and of course, the movies of Michael Bay. Some people hate his work with a fiery passion; while others will defend his movies as good old blockbuster popcorn flick fun with their lives.

A new video titled “What Is Bayhem?” takes a closer look at the filmmaking style of Bay, and also compares his undeniably unique style to shots in other movies, both good and bad. Whether you love or hate him, it’s an interesting exploration of some of the director’s favorite techniques.
