The $11 t-shirt deal of the day over at TeeFury today is a mash-up of Lord Of The Rings and My Little Pony called “My Little Shadowfax” by Italiux.

The sale began at Teefury today, Friday, September 6, 2013, at midnight EST, and will continue for 24 hours from then, and once it’s over, it will not be sold on the site for $11 anymore, though it will continue into the next day for $14 (look for the After Hours bar at the top).

Piggybacking off the success of My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic animated series, as well as the IDW comics book series, Hasbro has green-lit a live-action film titled My Little Pony: Friendship Is Rare.

The Care Bears will make a guest appearance!

Titled My Little Pony: Friendship Is Rare, expectations are high for this one, as Geeks Of Doom has learned exclusively that the beloved Ponies and loveable Bears will be played by Fran Drescher, Gilbert Gottfried, Wanda Sykes, Rosie Perez, and Jack Black in LARPer costumes. Black will play what he says is his dream role as a minotaur in the film, while his musical outfit Tenacious D will provide the soundtrack, including their #1 hit “Friendship”.

Today, TeeFury is doing one of their special “Twofury” deals, this time with two election-themed shirts for $10 each: One is a Star Wars-themed shirt called “Vote Empire” (in black) by Hugs & Guns which features Vader and Palpatine as running mates; the other is a My Little Pony-themed shirt called “Vote Brony” (in silver) by Bamboota.

There’s not actually a My Little Pony live-action movie being made right now, that was all just silliness. But in celebration of the many ’80s toy titles that are on the way, including: Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen, G.I. Joe: Rise of Cobra, a new Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, and the Candyland movie — Secret Sauce has taken the liberty of creating their own trailer for what a My Little Pony live-action trailer would indeed look like.

The trailer has all the joy, nostalgia and complete cheese you would hope and expect in a Pony movie. It was built with the obvious suggestion that it’s the newest franchise from Michael Bay, complete with hot chicks, explosions, shots of earth from space, flaming asteroids shooting across the sky, the lives of all humanity in danger, and some hot chicks.
