| New International Trailer For Simon Pegg & Nick Frost Alien Adventure ‘Paul’
Another trailer has been released for the upcoming Greg Mottola comedy, Paul, and this one is of the international variety. The movie rejoins Shaun of the Dead and Hot Fuzz duo Simon Pegg and Nick Frost as a pair of fanboys on their way to Comic-Con who discover an alien named Paul. Unlike most aliens we’ve come to know, Paul (Seth Rogen) is a foul-mouthed little fella who doesn’t quite fit the mold. Paul will be released on March 18, 2011, and you can read a full synopsis and check out the international trailer for yourself by clicking on over to the other side now!

| Geek Peek: First Look At Steven Spielberg & Peter Jackson’s ‘Adventures Of Tintin’ |
 |

The first images from Steven Spielberg and Peter Jackson‘s planned trilogy adaptation of The Adventures of Tintin have been released online. The performance-capture films will begin with the Spielberg-directed The Adventures of Tintin: The Secret of the Unicorn, which is set for release on December 28, 2011. The opening film is a combination of three stories — The Crab with the Golden Claws, The Secret of the Unicorn, and Red Rackham’s Treasure — follows Tintin (Jamie Bell), a young reporter who meets a man known as Captain Haddock (Andy Serkis), and the two discover a clue that might lead to a treasure belonging to Haddock’s great ancestor. Now comes our first peek at what the movie will look like by way of Empire Magazine. It’s nothing too surprising here — the movies look like the classic Tintin with a nice performance-capture/CGI makeover, and that was exactly the idea. Be sure to click over right now to see the two first images, and you can also click the image up top for Empire’s magazine cover.

| Watch Now: ‘Paul’ Trailer |
By Merkader
| October 20th, 2010 at 11:30 am |
My favorite things to watch include Shaun of the Dead, Hot Fuzz, and a British TV show called Spaced (the latter of which, if you haven’t seen it, is available to watch for free on Hulu and is fantastic).
What do all three of these have in common? They all star Simon Pegg and Nick Frost. Imagine my excitement when the first trailer for their new movie Paul was released. Watch it here below! Paul follows two friends from England as they come to America for a comic book convention. After the convention they explore Area 51 where they find an alien named Paul, voiced by Seth Rogen. Also staring in the film is Kristin Wiig , Sigourney Weaver, Bill Hader, Jane Lynch, and Jason Bateman.

| Geek Peek: First Glimpse At Nick Frost & Simon Pegg’s Alien Friend ‘Paul’ |
 |

There’s been a heavy dose of excitement behind Greg Mottola‘s geek-friendly road trip comedy Paul for a long while. The movie re-pairs one of the best acting teams in movies today, Nick Frost and Simon Pegg, as a couple of quintessential fanboys named Clive and Graeme who meet an incredible acquaintance after attending the yearly San Diego Comic Con gathering (which just recently ended last weekend; read all of our coverage here!). After their visit to Comic Con, the British duo also decide to see some other sights while in the area. One of their stops includes the mysterious Area 51, where they happen to bump into an extraterrestrial named Paul (voiced by Seth Rogen). The thing with Paul is that he isn’t like most aliens we’ve seen in movies and TV shows over the years, and actually has quite the vulgar tongue (or whatever anatomy aliens possess). One thing those who have been so excited for was what Paul the alien would actually look like, and Bleeding Cool has your first glimpse. Click on over to the other side to check him out for yourself!
