| Tyler Stout’s ‘Shaun Of The Dead’ Mondo Poster On Sale This Week
Edgar Wright, Simon Pegg, and Nick Frost made a public appearance at a screening of the entire Three Flavours Cornetto Trilogy at the Alamo Drafthouse in Austin, Texas this past weekend. But they were there for more than just that. In fact, the three debuted a Shaun of the Dead poster done by none other than the talented alternative pop culture artist Tyler Stout, and now this poster will go on sale to the public this week. Of course as with all these Stout posters, you’re gonna see almost every recognizable character from the film inserted into the poster itself. Plus a few more gems, that you should look out for. | Regal Cinemas To Hold Screenings Of Edgar Wright’s Three Flavours Cornetto Trilogy |

Edgar Wright‘s Three Flavours Cornetto Trilogy is coming to a close — Shaun of the Dead and Hot Fuzz were the first two, with next month’s The World’s End finishing it up. The trilogy combines humor, dry wit, and clever spins on genres. So how do you commemorate the end of the collaboration of director Wright and actors Simon Pegg and Nick Frost? Well, you hold Cornetto Trilogy screenings, of course. That’s right, you get to watch all three films in one day, the night before The World’s End is officially released. And even if you do not have a Regal Cinema theater near your living area, Wright assures his fans that there will be plenty of opportunities to watch this film and the other two on the big screen. Announced just before the film’s August 23rd release, Regal Cinema has released a schedule and list of theaters that will participate in this hysterical occasion. Hit the jump for more.

| SDCC 2013: Edgar Wright’s ‘The World’s End’ Panel
Film fans have patiently waited six years since 2007’s buddy cop spoof Hot Fuzz, for director Edgar Wright to conclude his Three Flavours Cornetto trilogy, which began in 2004 with rom zom com Shaun of the Dead. Edgar Wright was reunited today with his co-stars Simon Pegg and Nick Frost at San Diego’s Comic-Con for a discussion of the final film in the trilogy, The World’s End. The Nerdist’s Chris Hardwick moderated. The panel kicked off with a video retrospective of the trilogy before introducing the team. Hardwick noted The World’s End has a Doctor Who vibe, and Wright agreed it’s as if The Doctor was hammered, so ‘Doctor Hooch’. Pegg said his character, Gary, is a bit of a dick, but with a dark truth that explains his dickishness. Still stuck in the nineties, dressing like a sad goth. Frost described his character, Andy as an angry, buttoned-down, “hard nut,” lawyer type.

| Watch Now: Peter Jackson Chats ‘The World’s End’ With Edgar Wright, Simon Pegg, Nick Frost
If you’re excited about The World’s End, the new movie from director Edgar Wright and stars Simon Pegg and Nick Frost that follows Shaun of the Dead and Hot Fuzz to close out the Blood and Ice Cream Trilogy, you’re going to enjoy this video. In it, Wright, Pegg, and Frost sit down for some tea and a chat with papa Peter Jackson, director of the Lord of the Rings and Hobbit trilogies, who’s resting comfortably in his chair and wearing cozy wool socks. Jackson had a cameo in the second film of the trilogy and they’re all obviously friendly, so it’s pretty awesome to see them sitting back and chatting shop. The group discusses making The World’s End, from how the idea was born to various complications that arose. You can check out the video below now. A new video featurette has been released for The World’s End, the upcoming movie from director Edgar Wright and stars Simon Pegg and Nick Frost. For those who are unaware, the movie is the third entry in the impromptu Three Flavours Cornetto Trilogy, also known as the Blood and Ice Cream Trilogy, which also includes Shaun of the Dead and Hot Fuzz. The video is a little over five minutes in length, and features the film’s cast and crew talking about how the trilogy came to be, as well as some of the things that join the three different movies with different stories and characters into one trilogy.
