Edgar Wright‘s Three Flavours Cornetto Trilogy is coming to a close — Shaun of the Dead and Hot Fuzz were the first two, with next month’s The World’s End finishing it up. The trilogy combines humor, dry wit, and clever spins on genres. So how do you commemorate the end of the collaboration of director Wright and actors Simon Pegg and Nick Frost? Well, you hold Cornetto Trilogy screenings, of course.
That’s right, you get to watch all three films in one day, the night before The World’s End is officially released. And even if you do not have a Regal Cinema theater near your living area, Wright assures his fans that there will be plenty of opportunities to watch this film and the other two on the big screen.
Announced just before the film’s August 23rd release, Regal Cinema has released a schedule and list of theaters that will participate in this hysterical occasion. Hit the jump for more.
For those not living close to a Regal Cinema, Pegg posted on Twitter that that there will be more chains participating in holding Cornetto Trilogy screenings, including AMC, Arclight, and Alamo Drafthouse And if you weren’t in the mood to see all three films, then how about public appearances made by the people behind the film. That’s right, Wright confirms that there will be public appearances.
Here’s the official tweet.
FYI more chains, dates and public appearances to be announced…
While it’s not known if one or all three will appear at once at these public appearances – wouldn’t make much sense if it wasn’t all three – but we’ll be sure to update you.
For locations and to purchase tickets for the announced screening online at Regal Cinemas.
Below is a fun short PSA that Wright, Pegg, and Frost did for the Alamo Drafthouse, which held a triple feature for the Cornetto Trilogy last Saturday with the trio in attendance for a Q&A.

In THE WORLD’S END, five friends reunite in an attempt to top their epic pub crawl from 20 years earlier and unwittingly become humankind’s only hope for survival.
