Oz WarsThe $9 t-shirt deal of the day over at Teefury is called “Oz Wars,” a mashed up of Star Wars with The Wizard Of Oz by artist Denism79.

The sale at Teefury began at midnight EST (Sunday, December 27, 2010) and will continue for 24 hours from then, and once it’s over, it’s gone forever.

The t-shirt design shows the characters from the original Star Wars trilogy in the roles from The Wizard Of Oz. Princess Leia, hair buns and all, is Dorothy; C-3PO is the Scarecrow; R2-D2 is the Tin Man, Chewbacca is the Cowardly Lion, and Darth Vader is Dorothy’s little dog Toto.

Bon Jovi - Star Wars Christmas AlbumJon Bon Jovi.

He’s a huge star now, but back before he got his big break in the music industry in the early 1980s, the singer was sweeping floors for cash at his cousin’s recording studio, where they just so happened to be making Christmas In The Stars: Star Wars Christmas Album. During the making of the album, the young Bon Jovi got a chance to make his first professional recording on the song, “R2-D2 We Wish You A Merry Christmas.”

Listen to the song here below. It’s SO good. Trust me, just one listen and you will not only love it, you won’t be able to stop listening to it. R2-D2 makes an appearance on the track, as does Anthony Daniels as C-3PO.

Star Wars USB Hand WarmerMy fingers always get so cold as I type away all day long. It’d be really nice if there was something you could easily use to warm up your fingers.

Hopefully, such a device will be available real soon, as Japanese toy company Takara Tomy has come up with a USB hand warmer. Just plug in the device to a USB port to charge it for 2 hours, and you’ll get around 4 hours of hand-warming goodness!

Though the devices are not yet available for purchase and pricing has not yet been revealed, so far two Star Wars-themed devices — Darth Vader (in black); R2-D2 (in blue) — were created. There’s also a pink Hello Kitty version. See the pics here below.

R2-D2 C-3PO swimsuitsBecause R2-D2 was lonely, apparently, here comes the C-3PO swimsuit counterpart.

I have to say, these designs are quite clever. (Check out the image here at right of both swimsuits modeled by some very attractive ladies.)

The folks over at Black Milk are selling this gem for $85 in sizes small, tiny, and non-existent. No, I kid, it’s just that after seeing those models, I’m guessing even the Large size is tiny. The swimsuit comes in sizes from XS to Large, and has stuff like UV blocking and a “cooling effect.”

Check out more details about the swimsuit here below.
