We’ve already seen the red band trailer for the upcoming remake of Sam Raimi‘s horror classic The Evil Dead. Now comes a much more work friendly green band version of the trailer to check out. Evil Dead is directed by Fede Alvarez, and stars Jane Levy, Shiloh Fernandez, Jessica Lucas, Lou Taylor Pucci, and Elizabeth Blackmore. The movie will hit theaters on April 12, 2013. | NSFW ‘Evil Dead’ Trailer: A Blood Splattering Good TimeHorror remakes may be a dime a dozen, but when you get some invested interest from Sam Raimi and Bruce Campbell, the people behind the original film, then you have the potential to create something truly special. Looking at the new NSFW red band trailer for Evil Dead, we might be getting something that is not only unique, but it deserves to share the name of its film predecessor. Check out the newest red band trailer for Evil Dead here below. If anything, this trailer hints at the fact that it will make the original look like My Little Pony. How that is possible is based on how well this trailer was edited. There’s blood, guts, creepy makeup, chilling threats of death, stern warnings of impending doom, and what looks like the bloodiest tongue kiss ever, not to mention the few nods to the original. There is just so much in this trailer that I am worried there won’t be anything left in the final cut.

| ‘Cloverfield’ Actress Jessica Lucas Cast In ‘The Evil Dead’ Remake
After losing their star in Lily Collins and finding her replacement in Jane Levy, the rest of the cast for the remake of Sam Raimi‘s cult classic, The Evil Dead, is coming together. Consisting of lesser-known and unknown actors and actresses, the cast also currently features Shiloh Fernandez and Lou Taylor Pucci in addition to Levy. Now comes word that Jessica Lucas has entered into talks to join the remake, where she would play a nurse and the best friend to Levy’s lead character, a girl with drug problems who heads to the remote cabin deep in the woods with her friends to try and get sober.
