During a panel at San Diego Comic-Con 2016, the official title of the upcoming Star Trek TV series was revealed along with the name of the show’s new ship.

The title of the show, which will be Star Trek: Discovery, and ship name were unveiled in video teaser trailer of sorts. Click on over to the other side to check out the video.

CBS has released a bunch of promo videos for some of their upcoming new series, including the new Star Trek TV series from Bryan Fuller (Hannibal, American Gods), the return of MacGyver, and the new series Training Day based on director Antoine Fuqua’s movie of the same name starring Denzel Washington and Ethan Hawke, with Bill Paxton taking on Washington’s role of the whatever-it-takes veteran detective and newcomer Justin Cornwell playing the young trainee.

The Star Trek promo is brief and doesn’t show any actual footage, but does reveal the official logo for the new show. The MacGyver first look promo is longer and plays more like a trailer, while the Training Day promo is a full on preview running almost four minutes long. Now comes some news that should add to that excitement. Bryan Fuller, the creator and showrunner of the critically acclaimed but short-lived NBC drama Hannibal, will be the co-creator, showrunner, and an executive producer on the new Star Trek series.

The last time that a new episode of a Star Trek TV series was on the air was over a decade ago when Star Trek: Enterprise ended its fifth and final season.

Whispers of a new TV show have come and gone from time to time, especially after J.J. Abrams successfully rebooted the movie franchise in 2009, but now a new series is officially on the way. It’s being reported that Star Trek movie writer and producer Alex Kurtzman is developing a new take on the beloved franchise for television, which he will also executive produce. But those of you excited about news like this have even more to be excited about: the franchise is already established enough that, instead of waiting for a pilot to be ordered and made and watched to decide if they want to give it a full series, this new show has already been given the full series order. There is, however, a bit of a catch.
