Normally set photos don’t tell us much besides giving us a behind the scenes look at a production of a film. These photos are a dime a dozen, and generally come from pedestrians or production crew who were given the social media green light. But when it comes to set photos for Star Wars: Episode VII, it’s something that should be turning heads.

We already know that J.J. Abrams will be using practical effects for the highly anticipated film, meaning there won’t be as much CGI, and iconic ships like the Millennium Falcon and X-Wing fighters will be built from the ground up. But with these sets closely guarded from prying eyes, it will be hard for set photos to be leaked. Unless you are taking these photos from the sky above. Another actor best known for their work on Game of Thrones is joining Star Wars: Episode VII, which recently resumed filming after a brief hiatus.

Miltos Yerolemou, who fans of the HBO series know as the water dancer/sword master Syrio Forel, has joined the movie. Fellow Thrones star Gwendoline Christie, who plays Brienne of Tarth on the show, joined the cast back in June.

I don’t know about you, but I’ve been wondering “what happened” after the events of 1983’s Return Of The Jedi for all these years. Yes, we had all of the Star Wars Expanded Universe goodness, which I thoroughly enjoyed, but there was always that sense that since it was not canon, it couldn’t be considered the real deal.

Now that we’re getting an official Star Wars sequel film trilogy, with the first film — Star Wars: Episode VII — coming in 2015, we’ll finally find out what happened to Han, Leia, Luke, and all their friends and foes. It will likely be a while before we get an official posters, so in the meantime, we can enjoy these fan-made Star Wars: Episode VII posters.

We’re seeing a lot of leaks out of the Star Wars: Episode VII production, one of which was the scoop about which villains would be in the highly anticipated Star Wars sequel.

It’s an exciting day for Star Wars fans, with lots of leaks coming out of the highly secretive Star Wars: Episode VII production. So far, we found out about the villains, the Stormtroopers (or Snowtroopers), and we’re getting a peek at the costume concept art for Han Solo AND some details about what kind of ship he’ll be piloting in the upcoming JJ Abrams film.
