Mads Mikkelsen Reveals “Spoiler” For ‘Rogue One: A Star Wars Story’

Well based on the headline, we should consider the following tidbit about Rogue One: A Star Wars Story a possible spoiler for a couple of reasons. Maybe Mads Mikkelsen doesn’t understand the concept of spoiler or maybe he is just messing with everyone with a joke. Whatever the case, it is exciting to have the Hannibal actor on board for the film. But we still don’t know much about his role besides the rumors that have been floating around the internet.
While it has yet to be confirmed, the actor has revealed that his character has a family connection to one of the members of the Rebel team that will steal the plans to the Death Star. More on the story below.

J.J. Abrams Responds To ‘Star Wars: The Force Awakens’ Being Like ‘A New Hope’
|
 |

Everyone can agree that Star Wars: The Force Awakens is probably one of the best Star Wars films that has been released so far. Well, better than the Prequels at least. There are those who believe that The Force Awakens did not measure up to their expectations. But that hasn’t stopped the film from continually breaking box office records left and right — it has even taken the title of the highest domestic grossing film in the U.S., and is currently on its way to being the number one film globally.
While that is great, there are those who are hung up on the idea that The Force Awakens is too much like A New Hope, and left many questions unanswered. Abrams co-wrote the screenplay with Lawrence Kasdan – who was the screenwriter behind Empire Strikes Back, Return of the Jedi, and the upcoming Han Solo spinoff film.
Despite these criticisms, this was all a part of Abrams and Kasdan’s gameplan. Abrams reveals that the similarities were a “wildly intentional thing.” More on the story below.
Spoilers for The Force Awakens coming….

It goes without saying that Star Wars: The Force Awakens is the most anticipated films of the year. And as such, the expectations are very high for director J.J. Abrams to give us something that will remind us what Star Wars is really about. So it is easy to understand why he might be a little terrified about what fans might think of his vision for the franchise for the new generation. But it is safe to say that not only has he met those expectations, he also exceeded them.
I’ll start out by saying that I am not a hardcore fan of the franchise, but I understand its mythology and how people can live and breathe the world of Star Wars. Second, this will be a spoiler-free review, meaning I won’t reveal what hasn’t been already revealed in trailers and interviews. This is so that everyone can be just as surprised about the film as I was when I first watched it with my fellow journalists. Check out my review of Star Wars: The Force Awakens here below.
