Less than three weeks after the death of Steve Jobs a biography of the late digital media pioneer and co-founder of Apple and Pixar Animation written by former CNN chairman and Time magazine managing editor Walter Isaacson has been released.

The book, simply titled Steve Jobs, is now available in hardcover and Kindle formats.

Steve Jobs 1955–2011

At the end of August, many were stunned when it was revealed that Apple co-founder Steve Jobs was stepping down as CEO, and that Tim Cook would be taking his place. It wasn’t the first time that Jobs had stepped away, and many feared the worst given that he had battled numerous health problems, including pancreatic cancer and a liver transplant.

Now those fears have become a reality, as Apple has announced via a short statement on their website that Steve Jobs has passed away at the age of 56.
