| Warner Brothers In Talks With Steven Spielberg’s Amblin Entertainment To Remake ‘Gremlins’
Among the many beloved movies and movie franchises we’ve heard listed off as potential candidates for the remake or reboot treatment, the 1984 horror-comedy classic Gremlins is one of them. Back in 2009 there was even word that a possible Gremlins 3 might be happening. Thankfully, as of this very moment, it’s also one of the lucky few that has yet to go under the knife. But it’s hard to say how long that will last. According to sources, Warner Brothers is in some form of negotiations with Gremlins producer Steven Spielberg’s Amblin Entertainment to try and remake the movie.

| Universal Schedules ‘Jurassic Park 4’ To Hit Theaters June 2014
We can finally put any and all Jurassic Park 4 speculation to rest as Universal Pictures has officially announced that the project has been greenlit and will be released on June 13, 2014. Of course with the 3D hype still going strong, the film will also be released in 3D. THR’s Borys Kit was one of the first to break the news. He adds that Steven Spielberg is attached to produce and that the search for a director is now on. Jurassic Park 4 will be based on a script, written by Rick Jaffa and Amanda Silver (Rise of the Planet of the Apes), that was turned in this week. While the impression that the Robopocalypse delay may hint at Spielberg returning to his beloved franchise, there is nothing to confirm that he is coming back. There is also no mention of a shortlist of directors, but the report does confirm that the search will commence next week.

| Steven Spielberg’s ‘Robopocalypse’ Delay Is Real, But Only For A Moment
News of an indefinite delay on Steven Spielberg‘s Robopocalypse would have been devastating to the project, but it turns out the film might not be in that much trouble. Wilson‘s popular sci-fi novel, prompted Spielberg and his team to halt production indefinitely until they could figure out the problems with it. However, Spielberg says things have been blown out of proportion and even though the delay is real, the movie will commence production before too much time elapses. The root of the problem was that the script was calling for a lot of money to be spend, so Spielberg wants to find a way to make a film with a more economically friendly script that is also more personal.

After dealing with the tragic decision of viewing the should-have-been-an-abortion movie called Skyline, I really needed something to wash the remnants of shit out of my mouth. That film in the last streaming review was so terrible, I have been stuck in an almost catatonic state for the duration of week, rocking back and forth, weeping for my teddy bear and soiling my pants. Cheers to the wonder that is J.J. Abrams and Steven Spielberg, for it was the epic science fiction movie Super 8, evoking a potent injection of nostalgia, which came to my rescue. From the opening sequence, I began feeling the haze of depression leave my tortured brain, in a manner that was akin to the pins-and-needles sensation of circulation returning to an appendage that was numbed.
