Telltale's The Walking Dead Image

Telltale Games’ five episode point-and-click version of The Walking Dead was one of the very best video games of 2012, with one of the best video game characters/relationships in any game. Ever. If you’ve not yet played it—and even if you never touch video games but are a Walking Dead fan—find a way to play this one immediately (Xbox 360, PS3, PC).

Because of how popular the game was, fans are already buzzing with excitement over a season two that’s currently in the early stages of development. But as you know, “early stages of development” translates out to “excruciatingly long wait ahead.”

But it appears that Telltale doesn’t want that painful wait to be quite so painful, and may have a little something in store for fans much earlier.

The Walking Dead Game Bundle Image

Telltale Games’ episodic video game adaptation of Robert Kirkman‘s The Walking Dead has already mostly been released and enjoyed by a great number of fans. But for those of you not as into downloading games onto your console, all five episodes of the game are being joined together and sold as a full game on disc.

The full game will arrive on December 4th, but you can pre-order it now. Even better, there’s a pre-order bonus Collector’s Edition bundle pack that those of you who have been wanting to read the original Walking Dead comic are going to want to hear about.

The five-part episodic adventure allows players to meet familiar characters and visit locations from the zombie-infested world created by Robert Kirkman, foreshadowing the story of Deputy Sheriff Rick Grimes in The Walking Dead comics.

Episode one of game series, A New Day, introduces Lee Everett, a man convicted of murder, now given freedom and a chance at redemption in a world devastated by the undead.

Intense life or death situations force the player to explore the darker sides of human nature as there are no rules in this new post-apocalyptic world.

Jurassic Park: The Game

The first trailer for Telltale Games’ upcoming title, Jurassic Park: The Game, has been released online and can be seen below.

Telltale was founded by some former employees of LucasArts, and have created multiple episodic titles including for the popular Sam & Max and Monkey Island. Lately they’ve been taking on popular movie, TV, and comic book titles like the recent Back to the Future game and now Jurassic Park, with future projects including The Walking Dead, Fables, and a new addition to King’s Quest.
