Back in September we saw a teaser trailer for The Angry Birds Movie, a 3D animated feature from Sony Pictures Entertainment based on the hit mobile game series Angry Birds.

Now the official theatrical trailer for the movie—which is set on an island paradise inhabited by the birds when some mysterious green pigs show up—has been released. You can read a can watch the new trailer below.

Remember Angry Birds? Me neither! But while the game isn’t talked about as much as it used to be, the animated movie we first heard about back in December of 2012 is still on the way whether you’re ready for it or not.

Officially titled The Angry Birds Movie, it features quite the cast including Jason Sudeikis, Josh Gad, Danny McBride, Maya Rudolph, Kate McKinnon, Bill Hader, Peter Dinklage, Keegan-Michael Key, Tony Hale, and others. As an added bonus, the movie doesn’t look as awful as you may have imagined it was going to look. Whether the final product ends up ultimately being a pleasant surprise, however, is a question to be answered on another day.
