Avengers Age Of Ultron title card

The last studio panel at Comic-Con is generally the biggest one. But when you have to follow up with news like the Batman Superman Movie announcement, or the massive X-Men: Days Of Future Past cast photo-op, you’d better have a nice ace up your sleeve. This reveal immediately led to speculation on how Marvel would handle the villain in the sequel and if the story would be based on the recent Age Of Ultron comic book series.

Marvel Entertainment has released a post-panel video interview Marvel LIVE! did with Whedon, where the director explains that The Avengers: Age Of Ultron will not be based on the current comic book series, and that Ultron will actually have a different origin than the comics.
