Could Iron Man’s JARVIS Become Ultron In ‘The Avengers 2’?
Marvel Comics tells us that Ultron was created by Hank Pym aka Ant-Man, but the Marvel Cinematic Universe will tell us a different story. With the Edgar Wright-directed Ant-Man film scheduled to open in theaters in November 2015, six months after the release of Avengers: Age of Ultron, the cybernetic threat’s origins will have to be explained. It’s being speculated that Tony Stark will be behind Ultron’s creation, which makes a lot of sense. So far this has been unconfirmed, but what if Ultron was already there, staring us in the face?
Now this is purely a rumor – a very big rumor at that – but Unleash The Fan Boy is reporting that J.A.R.V.I.S. (voiced by Paul Bettany), Tony Stark’s AI for the Iron Man armors, will portray Ultron in the highly anticipated Avengers sequel.

Joss Whedon On Making Ultron’s Powers More Grounded In ‘The Avengers’ Sequel
The Ultron we will be seeing in The Avengers: Age of Ultron will be somewhat different than the one that has been seen in the comics. For one thing, this Ultron will not be based on Hank Pym’s (aka Ant-Man) brain patterns, because, as director Joss Whedon puts it, this will be an origins story for the villain.
As revealed in the comics, Ultron, who was originally a creation of Hank Pym, becomes sentient, developing an Oedipus Complex and a deep hatred for humanity. The cybernetic increases his intelligence and powers exponentially, nearly taking down the entire Marvel superhero line up time and time again. In fact he is so strong, that Whedon has to make him more grounded so that The Avengers can keep up with him. Hit the jump to see what the director had to say about Ultron.

Aaron Taylor-Johnson has been rumored to be the new Quicksilver, and has been talking about the character during press junkets for Kick-Ass 2, while Saoirse Ronan was attached to be the Scarlet Witch.
