| ‘The Strain’ Gets A 4th and Final Season From FX
The FX vampire series The Strain is currently in its third season (find reviews and more right here), and now we know that this current season is the penultimate one. It has been announced that the series, which is based on the book trilogy of the same name written by Pan’s Labyrinth and Pacific Rim director Guillermo del Toro and Chuck Hogan (13 Hours: The Secret Soldiers of Benghazi) with Carlton Cuse (LOST) acting as showrunner, has been given a season four order by FX. It’s also been revealed that this fourth season will be the show’s final season.

Setrakian (David Bradley) studies it voraciously, only stopping to referee Fet and Quinlan (Kevin Durand and Rupert Penry-Jones). Gus (Miguel Gomez) keeps his strigoi mom as a pet. Fet tries in vain to save the Navy Seals from a gruesome fate at the hands of The Master (Jack Kesy). Spoilers below.

Setrakian (David Bradley) had succeeded in obtaining the Lumen from Eichorst (Richard Sammel), after Palmer (Jonathan Hyde) pulled the funding. As punishment, The Master (Jack Kesy) took Coco’s (Lizzie Brocheré) eternal life, destroying Palmer. Quinlan, Gus, Setrakian, and Fet (Rupert Penry-Jones, Miguel Gomez, Bradley, and Kevin Durand) joined forces. Nora (Mia Maestro) got infected by Kelly (Natalie Brown) while defending Zach, who ended up leaving with his mom. Eph (Corey Stoll) showed up heartbroken, and Nora decided to end it instead of letting the Master use her. More spoilers ahead for episode 3.1 “New York Strong.”

| SDCC 2016: Check Out ‘The Strain’ Spoofy Music Video
If there was any reason to doubt why one would love the crazy, violent, funny, gross, and outlandish FX series The Strain, that was put to bed today at the San Diego Comic-Con panel held on Thursday in Ballroom 20. They made a music video spoofing on the show. The panel included show creators Carlton Cuse and Chuck Hogan, as well as cast members Ruta Gedmintas and Kevin Durand, who were all on hand to dish about the strigoi and the heroes.
