
David Koepp has been brought in to pen the script for The Thin Man, a remake of the 1934 classic of the same name that Johnny Depp set up with Warner Brothers last year through his Infinitum Nihil banner.
The original movie was based on a 1934 novel by Dashiell Hammett, also called The Thin Man. It was one of what would become a six–film series, all of which starred William Powell and Myrna Loy as a married couple””he a former private detective and she a socialite””who sit around drinking together in Prohibition-era New York City before deciding to solve a murder.
