| First Look At ‘The Three Stooges’
While this labor of love for the Farrelly Brothers has taken quite a bit of time and pain to get to the big screen, we finally have our first look at the cast of the upcoming adaptation of The Three Stooges. The film stars Will Sasso, Sean Hayes, and Chris Diamantopoulos as Curly, Larry and Moe, respectively, and I must say, this looks absolutely awful.

| Fox Releases ‘The Three Stooges’ Teaser Poster & Banner
It’s not much, but if you were wondering what Peter Farrelly and Bobby Farrelly‘s The Three Stooges are going to look like, we now have a basic idea in the form of a teaser banner (above), as well as a new teaser poster that doesn’t show much of anything. It’s only the top of their heads, but the new Stooges look pretty much what you probably envisioned in your head they would look like when hearing that we had gone from Jim Carrey, Sean Penn, and Benicio Del Toro playing the famed trio to Will Sasso (MADtv, Happy Gilmore), Sean Hayes (Will & Grace, The Bucket List), and Chris Diamantopoulos (24, The Kennedys).

| Yet Another Attempt At ‘The Three Stooges’ Movie, This Time At Fox

Now it would appear that The Three Stooges has new life with word of a brand new home. Deadline is reporting that 20th Century Fox has picked up the pieces and will now move forward with the movie, hoping to begin filming by March. This also puts them back on the trail for the next set of actors they’ll choose for the lead roles.

| Round & Round We Go: Sean Penn Rejoins ‘Three Stooges’
Peter and Bobby Farrelly have been trying to bring their movie version of The Three Stooges to us for a long time now, and it looked as though things were going well when we discovered that they had Benicio Del Toro, Sean Penn, and Jim Carrey set to play Moe, Larry, and Curly. The project took a turn for the worst when it was announced that Penn was going to drop all of his film projects to concentrate on his family problems, which unfortunately ended with the splitting up of he and his wife Robin Wright Penn. Now comes word via The Boston Herald that Penn is back and ready to reacquire the role of Larry now that some form of resolution has been reached in his personal life. This is obviously great news for the Farrelly brothers, who feared that his initial departure could spell the end for the struggling project, though there were rumors of the fantastic Paul Giamatti taking over for Penn.
