| M. Night Shyamalan To Revive ‘Tales From The Crypt’ For TNT
If anything, 2015 was a big year for M. Night Shyamalan. It was the year that he came out with The Visit film and the Wayward Pines television series, both of which were a return to form for the writer-director. And now it looks like he will help curate a new series of frights with the TNT network. A new report confirms that Shyamalan, known for feature films with a twist like The Sixth Sense and The Village, will be partnering up with TNT for a new version of HBO’s former late-night anthology series, Tales From The Crypt. | Frank Darabont’s ‘Mob City’ Will Not Get A Season 2 From TNT
Fans of Frank Darabont‘s TV follow-up to The Walking Dead, Mob City, will be saddened to learn that a second season is not on the way. TNT has decided not to continue with the show, which premiered this past December as an event series with three two-episode installments equaling out to a six-hour debut season. While it looked excellent, the show simply did not deliver the numbers and attention to win additional episodes.

| REMINDER: ‘Mob City’ From Former ‘Walking Dead’ Showrunner Frank Darabont Premieres Tonight
Just a quick reminder for those of you who have been anxiously awaiting the next TV show from Frank Darabont, the former showrunner of AMC’s The Walking Dead who was fired from the position, that it premieres on TNT tonight at 9 p.m. EST. The show, titled Mob City, is set in post-World War II Los Angeles, with some of the same characters seen in the video game L.A. Noire and the recent movie Gangster Squad.

| Watch Now: First Trailer For Original ‘Walking Dead’ Showrunner Frank Darabont’s L.A. Noir TV Show ‘Mob City’
After being credited as creator of the hit AMC series The Walking Dead and acting as showrunner for a short while, Frank Darabont was fired and moved on to a new project. This new project was set up with TNT, and was known at the time as L.A. Noir. Not L.A. Noire the video game, but based on the book L.A. Noir: The Struggle for the Soul of America’s Most Seductive City by John Buntin. Since then the show has changed its name to Lost Angels, cast people like Walking Dead star Jon Bernthal, and changed the title again, this time to Mob City. Now a first trailer has been released for the show, which is set to premiere on December 4th, and you can watch it below.
