
Back in June, we found out that Ubisoft’s hit video game series, Tom Clancy’s Splinter Cell, was being made into a movie. Most people tend to shrug off video games being turned into movies, as they tend to be on the not-so-enjoyable side of the line. But now comes word of a fast-rising superstar joining the cast.
Tom Hardy, who played Bane in Christopher Nolan’s Batman trilogy-maker, The Dark Knight Rises, and also starred in films such as Inception and Lawless, has signed on for a role in the Splinter Cell movie. The script will be written by Eric Warren Singer (The International).
